As that in the beginning of December, 2009 the note that at Valery RD3AF the new complex of aerials is established has flown. The photos of preparation seen on a site, installation and already ready aerials more than have surprised me with the scope. And it considering that in 2007 I was present on a position and everything that there was at that point in time, me then have shaken by the scale. But photos of "monster" could not force to remain me indifferent and to constrain the emotions in themselves. I have congratulated Valery in the letter on installation of the new aerial, and have expressed the opinion on a site.
The invitation from Valery Komarova RD3AF to work in any competitions from it shek was for me pleasant unexpectedness.
Having mine not so a work wide experience on HF in competitions, very much it would be desirable to listen to ranges on its super-aerials, to feel normal setup.
Having learnt about my forthcoming trip, my brother Anatoly RW3PN and our good child-hood friend Gleb RU3PU, have expressed desire to get acquainted more close with aerials and equipment well-known conestman with a world name. Long could not pick up competition: that problems with departure problems on work, but, at last it was settled and has been chosen «MEXICO RTTY Contest». But during the latest moment, already when tickets have been bought, Gleb on work had serious problems and it could not leave with us.
Have reached without adventures, the GPS-navigator of the driver and the cards which have been in advance unpacked from the program «Google the Planet the Earth» has helped.
Profits on a position about 10 o'clock in the morning, Alexander RZ3AZ has told by phone that they with Alexander RK3AX will approach a bit later, to hours to 12, and has suggested to wait and have a rest a little.
Unfortunately, the owner of a position was absent both acquaintance to equipment and antennas for coming contest was spent by Alexander RZ3AZ. In detail having explained that, where and as is switched, joins and as has a little acquainted with the program for the competitions, used by Valery RD3AF. In a consequence, the habit to work on other programs has brought the contribution at work in contest, and not the best, unfortunately.
Have at dinner decided that the best preparation, is real work on air. Some hours prior to the beginning of competitions have spent in work as telegraph and the teletype a little to get used to equipment and system of switching by aerials. Already in the first spent QSO it was appreciable, how new aerials remarkably work.

The test beginning. Set of calling stations, it is possible to spend lasting many hours pile-up - such I did not hear never! The second business hour – in a broad gull 118 QSO and all only on 40 metres comes to an end. Time to replace a range, to look that occurs on others – practically is not present. For me such rate, to tell the truth, is a little intense and for excitement hands sometimes shivered, getting that not on those keys for some time hanging at the toggle-switch of switching of aerials, losing precious seconds.
Night. Periodically changing ranges, 80ì., 40ì. The basic quantity of communications on LF ranges is spent. For a moment I pay attention that on a control panel of the new aerial an inscription “MONSTER”, Alexander RZ3AZ nods on Alexander RK3AX – a pier ask it, on what that has answered about the following: «the Monster, it also is the Monster». As they say – no comments! Aerials work is really more tremendous. I hear ALL! And from all directions – the main thing in time to tighten the aerial. Problems to work on LF with an every spot on the globe practically is not present.
With dawn arrival starts to open 14 MHz and as it would not be desirable to leave LF-ranges – I pass on HF-ranges . Gathering mults begins. And again all this huge network of an antenna economy proves to be in full beauty! Circulation – almost unceasing pile-up begins, only occasionally skip for some seconds aside to take a new multiplier. And Mexicans all somehow also is not audible and it is not visible, units work. The truth of problems to work is not present – both they me, and I hear them excellently. Judging by accepted numbers – competitors practically are not present. And it especially heats soul, means also we in remote places «not a finger forced» (adjusted for super setup)!

Metre range, and again I collect all whom I hear – but stations very much and very little. It is insulting to tears, but... At 8:24 UTC QSO with Z32ID which breathes in a nape, rupture of all in 21 QSO, and fingers in the keyboard – this time and from intense rate, and for weariness again start to "be confused". But along toward evening «the second breath» opens, eyes are not ill any more from constant contemplation of the screen of the huge monitor, to sleep already practically it would not be desirable. And there and then the heap of the Mexican stations falls out, it would be desirable to have time to work with everyone before it will replace the next time frequency. Ìóëüò has passed for 150, but it would be desirable more and more!! Aerials already again show reception miracles – through walls of calling stations, without problems I accept stations of Mexico as it is confident, as well as they me. You are once again convinced that «aerials solve all»! Especially - such.
In last hours with 17 to 19 UTC was impression that has worked with all.
As a result: 980 - QSO, 2924 - points for communication, 152 – a multiplier, 473688 - points declared.
General impression: at Valery RD3AF for today the super kontest-position which does not have equal, for very serious work and victories in competitions of any level.
Thanks Alexander RZ3AZ and to Alexander RK3AX for dialogue, the help, support! And also for a science – we have much learnt about small and "big" secrets of tactics and strategy at work in competitions.
